Top 10 Tweeted Links of 2009

2009 was a great year. In fact, it was the first year where I really started using Twitter. Oh I'd used it before 2009, but not seriously. (And come on, it's only been around since, what, like 2007?) Anywho, I went back through my 2009 Tweets. I took a look at all the videos and links I felt were worth sharing, took my ten favorite, and now present them to you, dear reader. So without further ado, my top ten tweeted links of 2009:
  1. A Hastily Made Cleveland Tourism Video
  2. Preservation Hall Hot 4: Saint James Infirmary (King Britt Remix)
  3. Freedom Tray - So free it hurts
  4. This old Nextel commercial that I love
  5. Ben Folds Five reunites to play Reinhold Messner live
  6. 1300 Bad Words
  7. The Wikipedia Entry for M.A.S.K., the only cartoon besides TMNT that I remember really loving as a kid.
  8. The iPod is revolutionary
  9. These American Apparel leotards look ridiculous
  10. TWIPES!

That's it everyone. Have a great twenty-ten.

  1. I recently rediscovered MASK from a Robot Chicken cartoon. They had a bunch of toys I remembered having, but I couldn't figure out what they were from; luckily it was a MASK parody skit, which gave me the answer :).

MASK was nowhere near as cool as Transformers was, though.

  2. Robot Chicken! Yes! What a strange show...

I had several MASK toys including the bad dudes' lair, which was this sort of mountain-top fort. It was very cool. I like of the wikipedia page says that MASK was basically created to sell toys. While I admit Transformers was probably better, based on what I hear, I just didn't really watch it, and MASK I did watch. I blame my parents or the naïveté of youth.

  4. Aw, man! I love that song soooo much. It's been stuck in my head for the past three days, and was stuck in my head for like a week after the first time I saw it.

My two favorite lines our, "Our economy's based on LeBron James" and "The Flats looks like a Scooby Doo ghost town."
