I just found out (from a City Paper that I was using to wrap my dishes for the move) that one of my very favoritest bands, Fountains of Wayne, is going to be playing in Pittsburgh while I'm gone! I have never seen FOW before live, and therefore am very disappointed that this is all going down in my absence. It will be June 7 (my sister's bday) at Diesel on Carson Street. I demand that my friends who are staying behind go to this show, even if you think you don't like Fountains of Wayne.
In other news, I went to Coin Star today with a collection of coins roughly two years old. The results? Positive. $34, which included zero quarters! The breakdown:
250 Dimes
130 Nickels
530 Pennies
100% Awesome
